Extraordinary Woman Recognition

University of Arkansas Extraordinary Woman Nomination

In an effort to assist the Commission’s effort to spotlight individuals who have been advocates of women and women’s issues, the Commission encourages all individuals on the University of Arkansas campus to consider recognizing such persons. A women’s advocate is an individual who leads by example, is a role model, and is an inspiration for others seeking gender equality and women’s empowerment. They empower those around them and make a positive impact on the women’s experiences on our campus.

In a few sentences, please explain the nature of the nominee’s contributions of significance and/or leadership achievements related to the University of Arkansas campus community, region, state and/or nation (limit to 250 words).

Upon nominating an extraordinary woman for recognition, the nominator will receive confirmation acknowledging that the nomination has been received. The nominee will receive a copy of the nomination.
